As a leading piping and industrial contractor Ayrshire is first in safety, quality and performance. Process Safety Management, Responsible Care, and OSHA- Compliance are terms that are heard on a daily basis at Ayrshire, Inc. jobsites. Safety is not a thread running through our operation, but the fabric from which it is woven. Whether it is entering a permit-required confined space, constructing scaffolding, or climbing over the six-foot fall protection threshold, all our work is performed by employees with documented safety training under the direction of "competent" supervision. No work is performed without every employee being aware of the hazards of his workplace and having received the proper training to deal with those hazards.

To obtain the best instruction available, Ayrshire, Inc. employs the services of The University of Findlay , the Scaffold Training Institute, Towlift, All Erection and Crane, The Crosby Group, and The Crane Institute of America to provide training for unique safety-critical activities. We routinely have product specialists from 3M Occupational Health, Industrial Scientific, DBI Sala and others conduct classes on the care and use of the equipment they manufacture. We know there is no half-way method to maintain a safe working environment. To insure that responsible personnel are on the job, Ayrshire, Inc. also maintains a substance abuse program which requires pre-employment, random, post-accident and "for cause" screening. No stone is left unturned in our quest for the safety high ground.
